Boomer Women: How To Build Retirement Income With Your Own Website
Adding money to your nest egg is a smart move, no matter what your age or stage of life. We all want to be financially comfortable; especially during our "golden years" when we should be enjoying the fruits of our labor, not worrying about rising costs and shrinking savings. That's why it's important to create wealth-building strategies that will keep on working for us even after we quit working—to secure our own financial future.
But how does one do that? How does one capitalize on existing opportunities without draining existing (or nonexistent!) resources? Don't worry. It's not really the Catch-22 it might seem. In fact, now more than at any other time in history, it's possible for anyone, regardless of their age, education, experience, training, or economic status, to create their own sustainable future by feeding a need in the current marketplace—the need for knowledge.

Maybe you've used the Internet this way yourself, perhaps even making an online purchase, or at least clicking on an advertisement for something that caught your eye. Did you know, though, that when you clicked on that ad someone was very likely making a few pennies off that click? It's true. Advertisers pay website owners to display their ads, so when people click on the ad, the website owner gets paid "per click."
It might not sound like much money, but imagine if you owned that website and thousands of people clicked on that ad? You'd be making money for doing nothing! Well, not exactly nothing. You do have to create the website in the first place and get visitors to it, but once you learn how to do that, you can make money in all sorts of different ways. Which brings us to the reason you're reading this article: to learn how to build your nest egg with your own website.

Passive revenue is money you earn without having to work at a "job" to keep the money flowing into your bank account. People who buy real estate or invest in the stock market or put money in an interest-bearing savings account all make passive revenue. A website works the same way—you create "streams" of passive income using a variety of methods to make your website earn money for you. Here are just a few of the ways you can do this:
Advertising: From display ads to Google AdSense ads to ezine advertisements, you can make passive income by charging advertisers to place their ads on your website or in your electronic publications (ezines, podcasts, Web radio shows).

Boomer Women Unite!
Welcome to the Boomer Women Unite! blog. Have you seen the news stories and baby boomer studies lately, reporting that the future for boomer women is bleak? It's not a pretty picture, and, given the current social climate, I have no doubt these doomsday predictions will come true... if we don't do something about it.
Let's face it, ladies, men make more money than we do on average, and their retirement funds are probably going to be much larger also. But does that mean that boomer women should be looking for a nice Kenmore refrigerator crate to live in? No way!
We're smart, we're savvy, and we've still got lots of life left in us. I say, let's unite to create the future of our choosing! We've got the goods to make our lives better, so let's do it! What do you say?
